Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How long will an appointment take?
A:  Most appointments will take approximately 10-15 minutes.  However, for your initial exam & treatment, we will reserve approximately 45-60 minutes for you.  Please come in with your paperwork already filled out online or plan to come 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill out the paperwork.

Q: How can I fill out the paperwork online?
A: We are using a secure electronic medical records system (paperless) that will allow you to fill out your paperwork by following this link.  However, in order to do this, you must first call in so that we can enter you into the system & give you your personal PIN #.

Q: Can I make appointments & payments online?
A:  Through the online system, you can make your own appointment (after your initial exam appointment), re-schedule your appointment, OR even pre-pay for your appointments.

Q:  What insurance will you take?
A: All payments will be made at the time of service.  However, Peak Performance will file any & all insurance you might have, so that you will be reimbursed directly from your insurance provider.   We are still researching which companies we can be providers for.

Q:  What is Kinesiology?
A:  In the simplest of terms, it means "study of human movement", however in terms of treatment here at PPC&K, we use "Applied Kinesiology".   "Applied Kinesiology, AK" was founded in 1964 by the American chiropractor George Goodheart and is now used by chiropractors, osteopaths, medical doctors, dentists and others with a license to diagnose. Dr. George Goodheart found that evaluation of normal and abnormal body function could be accomplished by using muscle tests. Since the original discovery, the principle has broadened to include evaluation of the nervous, vascular, and lymphatic systems, nutrition, acupuncture, and cerebrospinal fluid function.
